This is my #1 anime, really loved watching it years ago, probably gonna re-watch it sometime now :]
I was really obsessed with it actually, freakin loved the power system just cause of how unique it is, even now!
oh and, the cover might be kind of decieving as my favorite part was actually part 2 tehee :]
Never really expected a music anime to resonate so much with me
Really, Really freakin loved it, rewatched it twice even and got a few volumes of manga
it even inspired me to start playing drums.... however i am a lazy fuck
still... this is one of my top watches man, freakin amazing

Somehow i got back into it cause i made a homie watch it too hihi
On a more serious note though, NGR is an amazing piece of fiction which tells a story of broken teenagers fighting angels while in massive awesome robots
While at the same time also subtly mirroring the fight with depression the author ( Hideaki Anno ) went through while writting this masterpiece
This is an amazing piece of fiction no matter how you look at it
Oh and also, Rei is the best girl :]
Another absolute banger
watched the anime AND read most-ish of the manga, atleast till 17th volume
The powersystem is really freakin cool an unique but the "Themes and such" are also really heartbreaking
After reading a load of the series and being spoiled even more of it i can see why people want to kill Tatsuki Fujimoto..
If you're planning on reading the series, do yourself a favor and just stop after part 1...
